An insider at Sky News is claiming that the channel will be launching its new look in October.

ABC1 to launch on Wednesday (17th August) at 11am on Sky EPG 280.

The British Luxury Council are set to launch a new shopping channel to compete with the upcoming Star Bazaar channel. The British Luxury Channel will have a similar programme-line up like Star Bazaar's offering deals and bargains on top brands.

Boomerang+1 is planned for the Autumn.

Sky Sports News will be moving into the now current Sky News room in September when Sky News unveils its new look.

Two new genres are going to be introduced on the Sky EPG - Lifestyle and Culture & Gaming and Dating to accomodate the vast number of channels that fit into these categories.

The digibox software update in mid-March maybe nothing more than just a minor upgrade, nothing major like has been rumoured. A possible change in the EPG background colour is the most we can expect.

A major reshuffle of the EPG is set to take place on 14th March. The change will see many channels being allocated new EPG slots.
