The £10 subscription fee for Sky+ has been axed, Sky has announced.
The Sky+ service is Sky's personal video recorder which allows the user to record, pause and instantly rewind live TV.
Currently customers are required to subscribe to 2 or more premium channels otherwise there is a £10 subscription in addition to the monthly Sky subscription.
However, as of 1st July 2007, the Sky+ subscription charge of £10 will be removed for all Sky Digital customers subscribed to any Sky Digital package.
SkyDigiOnline.co.uk reported in January of Sky's plan to remove the £10 Sky+ subscription.
Subscription to Sky Multiroom is unaffected and remains at £10 per month.
