Online Remote Record nears full launch

Online version of Remote RecordThe online version of the Remote Record service is going through a "test phase" and a full launch is expected soon.

The Remote Record service allows Sky+ customers to request a recording for their favourite TV programmes from anywhere in the UK via their mobile phone, sms or internet.

The online version of the service is nearing a full launch with many readers inundating us with emails saying that they can now set recordings via the Sky.com website.

A Sky spokesperson denied the service has launched fully but did say: "We're on track to launch remote record online in the coming months and are currently in a test phase."

In order to try out the online version of Remote Record, a registration is required. Once your Sky+ box is registered, follow these steps:

1) Go to Sky.com
2) Register your details
3) Click on TV Guide
4) Click on TV Listings
5) Choose a programme
6) Click on 'R' to record

The service is still in a test phase and may not work at all times.

Keep it with SkyDigiOnline.co.uk for the very latest on this.
