BBC News 24 has introduced a new on screen look with a slight tweak to its astons.

The clutter-free look has seen the channel logo and time being shifted in line with the news ticker, along the bottom of the screen.

The story details now appear just above the news ticker, occupying less space than previously.

The channel is also expected to revamp its studio set later this year.
