Sky News website to get revamp

Sky News' current websiteSky News will be revamping its current website to include more video footage from viewers and focus on more popular stories.

The new site, according to head of Sky News, John Ryley, will aim to do the same for online journalism as Sky News did for 24-hour news.

Sky News' new site, which is expected to relaunch around March 2007, will also aim to ensure, "Sky News on TV will be the same as on the computer".

The revamp will be overseen by Andrew Hawken, who quit as editor-in-chief of MSN.com.
