BSkyB wins Premiership mobile rights

According to the MediaGuardian The Premier League will today announce that BSkyB have been awarded the rights beating off competition from a consortium backed by the UK's five mobile phone networks. BSkyB's last-minute swoop means it has snapped up parts of all three types of rights auctioned by the Premier League - TV, online and mobile. The current three-year deal for highlights of Premier League matches on mobile phones is held exclusively by 3 and Vodafone. Related links | |
