Sky and Sony have announced an exclusive offer available now to new Sky HD subscribers.

Last year both companies confirmed that they will work together to promote the huge advance in picture and sound quality that HD will bring to television viewers.

From this Wednesday (26 April), Sky HD customers will be eligible for £100 cashback on Sony BRAVIA TVs.

To be eligible for the cashback, customers need to purchase a Sky HD box and subscribe to Sky HD before the 10th of July and purchase their Sony Bravia TV 26" or above.

Sky HD cashback forms are available from local electrical retail outlets or online at www.sky.com/hd.

Sky HD costs £299 for the Sky HD box with a Sky HD subscription of £10 a month in addition to their Sky digital subscription. As an introductory offer, standard installation of Sky HD is free for all new or existing Sky Digital subscribers taking a Sky HD subscription until 30 June 2006.

Channels available on Sky HD at launch in May 2006 will include Sky One HD, Sky Sports HD, two Sky Movies HD screens, Sky Box Office HD, Artsworld HD, Discovery HD and National Geographic HD. More HD channels will be launching later this year.
