It's been revealed that BSkyB chief executive receives a wage packet of £2.23m a year plus bonuses.

The son of Rupert Murdoch, James gets paid a basic salary of £750,000 in the year to the end of June, and also received benefits of £216,700.

The wage details were announced in BSkyB's annual report in which they also said that the company's finance director, Jeremy Darroch, was paid a total of �1.13m in his first 10 and a half months at the company. His pay package included salary of £440,000 and a £640,000 bonus.
