Madani Channel begins testing on Sky Digital

Madani Channel begins testing on Sky Digital Islamic broadcaster, Madani Channel has begun testing on the Sky Digital platform, ahead of its official launch next month.

The tests currently show a live simulcast of the main service in Pakistan.

As BizAsia.co.uk exclusively revealed days ago, Madani Channel will takeover the EPG slot of Punjjabi TV, which ceased broadcasting last month.

Madani Channel is expected to launch officially on the Sky EPG on Monday 7th December.

Tests of Madani Channel can be viewed in the following way:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> System Setup (4)
-> Add Channels (4)
-> Enter the frequency: 12.524 (H), FEC 2/3, Symbol Rate 27500
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight "Punjjabi TV" service and press Yellow button.
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> "Punjjabi TV" should be listed and available
