Ram Kapoor to star in NDTV Imagine drama

After the recent announcement that TV favourite Ram Kapoor is to front the reality show 'Rakhi Ka Swayamvar' on NDTV Imagine, it has now been reported that the actor has signed up for yet another show on the channel. He will be seen in Sagar Arts new drama 'Saudagar'. This will be seen as a major blow for Ekta Kapoor who has been luring him back to the production house. They last worked together during 'Kasamh Se' on ZEE TV. This is the third time that Kapoor has taken a non-Balaji show. The other two shows were 'Mansha' and 'Kabhi Aaye Naa Judai'. A reliable source told TellyChakkar, "The story is about a Gujarati, Maharastrian, Punjabi and a Muslim couple. Kapoor plays father to the Maharashtrian guy. The show is expected to launch either on 20th or 27th July." | |

Please do me a favour....Ask ram not to do 'daddy' roles on TV. With his weight and roles like the one he is doing on saudagar, people will think he's fit to do only older roles. Is ram keeping his promise to lose weight? I hope he's going to the gym and loosing weight. I hope to see a trim and fit ram in RKS.plz no this roles.
