India Sky Broadcasting makes UK splash

A new company by the name of India Sky Broadcasting (ISB) is set to make a splash in the UK market by launching a slew of new channels.

India Sky Broadcasting, which has recently acquired The Business Channel on the Sky Digital platform, has hinted on its website that it will be launching four new channels in India. The channels will soon spread to other international territories such as UK and Middle East.

On the website, it states, "Broadcasting a diverse selection of programmes across 4 channels that cover news, reality, lifestyle, magazine shows, makeovers, business, feature films, drama mini-series and documentaries as well as home shopping, ISB’s goal is to create a media universe of high quality, ethical and innovative programming that is both experimental and creative but with an appeal to the tastes and interests of divers strata in Indian society, all produced to the highest television production values."

The Business Channel was available on Sky Digital channel 547. Negotiations between the broadcaster and Sky are currently ongoing to move the channel lower down the EPG scale.

I'm from the UK. why does ICC champions Trophy have to be broadcasted on Geo if ARY Digital is known for showing Interantional Cricket in the uk, im very dissappointed because i've got ARY Digital since 3 years and not seen much cricket why is this when ARY have the rights to show cricket but dont show it.
