The first issue of Britain's new Asian cricket magazine hit shops this week with a special edition incorporating an ICC World Twenty20 preview.

The monthly magazine, which will be known as Big Hitter will consist of cricket star profiles, interviews and features.

Big Hitter will primarily focus on India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh cricket teams.

According to a company release, "Big Hitter will have an in-depth approach to the leading Asian cricketing nations for the first time in the UK. It is designed to entertain and inform fans on Asian cricket.

Big Hitter reflects the changing face of cricket in England, and further afield, through the words of some of the best writers on the circuit."

The first issue of Big Hitter was launched on Saturday 30th May.

Issue two is scheduled to hit the shelves on Thursday 16th July with reviews of the Indian Premier League, ICC World Twenty20 and cricket news.
