'Kasamh Se' axed, 'Dulhann' saved on ZEE TV

ZEE TV axes 'Kasamh Se' for 'Dulhann'There's been a u-turn of sorts with ZEE TV deciding to save 'Banoo Mein Teri Dulhann' from the axe, resulting in 'Kasamh Se' falling victim instead.

'Kasamh Se', which was once the channel's leading show continues to do well in the ratings but according to sources, the actors have lost interest in doing the show.

Ultimately, it was between 'Kasamh Se' and 'Dulhann' for the channel and it decided to save the latter even though speculation earlier this week suggested 'Dulhann' was to exit from the channel.

TellyChakkar contacted an exhilarated Kamya Punjabi who plays Sindoora in 'Dulhann', "I am very happy with the channel's decision. Dulhann always had a decent TRP so why axe the show? The show is about three people - Kamya, Divyanka and Sharad and how can we let our show end. We questioned the authorities about the decision and they had to rethink and finally change their decision. This show is very close to my heart and I was depressed for the last two days when I was told that the show is ending."

'Kasamh Se' will end in India next week (13th March) and in the UK on Thursday 19th March.

A new show produced by Swastik productions called 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo' will replace 'Kasamh Se' in the 20:30 slot from Monday 23rd March (UK only).

I am very sad to see Kasamh Se come to an end, it was one of the very first soap's that caught my attention. I will miss the show very much and good luck to all the actors.

It's very unfortunate that Kasamh Se has ended. ZEE TV could have made a better decision by ending soaps like Dulhann, Jhoom Jiya Re etc which have a lesser fan following!!
