New online Bradford station goes live

A new online radio station from Bradford has launched this week.

Asian Paradise Radio will be targeting the Asian community 24 hours a day 7 days a week and hopes to also offer training in all different department of a radio station to the local community.

The station will broadcast its programming in various languages including Urdu, Punjabi, Hindko, Mirpuri, Pashto, Gujrati and Bengali.

Asian Paradise Radio will predominantly be a music station with Hamds, Naats, Nasheeds, and Qawallies. A translation of the Quran in English will also be read.

Asian Paradise Radio plans to launch on Sky Digital soon and is the second online-only station to launch in recent weeks. Fresh Asian Radio based in Manchester became the UK's first online Asian radio station to launch last September.
