ZEE Next shows to broadcast on ZEE TV UK

With the India TV strike showing no sign of ending, ZEE TV UK has had to resort to temporary replacing its weekday primetime schedule of popular soaps with shows from sister channel ZEE Next.

Starting tomorrow (Monday 24th November), ZEE TV UK's schedule from 19:30 - 22:30 will consist of two dramas and one reality TV show from ZEE Next.

'Rock The Dhunn' will sit in the 20:00, which is usually occupied by 'Saat Phere'. The 30-minute theme based musical show will see performances by former 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' contestants.

'Ek Thi Rajkumari' will fill a 60-minute slot between 20:30 and 21:30, formerly of 'Kasamh Se' and 'Dulhann Banoo Mein Teri'. 'Ek Thi Rajkumari' is a love story of a young princess who has never seen the outside world.

Following 'Rajkumari' will be 'Pyar Ishq Mohabbat' at 21:30 (60 minutes) - a story of Keeya who is married to her work and has no time for her own self.

Re-run episodes of 'Cinemascope' will takeover the 19:30 band, which was formerly occupied by 'Teen Bahuraniyaan'.

'Sath Sath', 'Parivaar' and 'Rakhi' are currently a few episodes behind India and their UK telecasts are unaffected at the time of filing this article. Should this change, keep it with BizAsia.co.uk for the updates.

Plans to launch ZEE Next as a standalone channel in the UK have been put on hold after the channel decided to pump in extra money in its flagship channel ZEE TV due to immense competition from the likes of new entrant Colors and market leader STAR Plus.
