WWS ceases broadcasting on Sky Digital

The UK's first India-based shopping channel World Wide Shop (WWS) has ceased broadcasting today due to commercial reasons. WWS had a short-stint in the UK. It launched barely three months ago. The channel has been seeking an EPG buyer over the past couple of months after ambitious plans of running such a service in the UK were scrapped weeks after launch. WWS was available on EPG 681. It is currently showing a black screen. It will be removed from the EPG later this week. It is not yet known as to who will takeover EPG 681 after WWS' demise. Related links: | |
