Why all the fuss?
Asians have Asian TV & radio programmes, even entire channels devoted to them, health authorities will strive to provide correct ethnicity doctors & staff.
Who complains then?

Well, if you were in India you would have English TV and Radio programmes and "even entire channels" devoted to English shows. These channels are for people who are away from home, we don't need a channel in the UK devoted to an English audience as they all are anyway! When people ask for certain doctors it may be because they understand a certain dilemma, e.g. a strict Jew would not want any organ from a pig put into them as according to their faith pigs are unholy, a Jewish doctor would understand this better than a non-Jewish doctor and would therefore perhaps be more willing to go out of their way to find an alternative.
It is rude to ask for a non-Asian cabby as discriminating against him means he has less of a chance to earn as much as his non-Asian colleagues.
If I asked for a driver that was not white then I am sure that would be seen as racist would it not?
Think about the whole picture Mike and Wolfie.

Thats right, spot on Imran...
And I think that it was very rude to ask for a non - Asian cabbie, how would people take the effect if it was the other way round, quite the same I would think.
