The UK's first Asian online-only Asian radio station is set to go live in October.

Fresh Asian Radio, as the station is known, is based in Manchester but will stream live 24 hours a day from around Diwali (October-end). Bollywood, Bhangra and Pakistani music will form the station's output.

Presenters include Aamir Wahid, Azmat Bajwa, Jagtar Sigh, Amjad Ali, Pete Doddy, Mark Anwar and Sophie Hafeez.

The station's schedule consists of the Breakfast Show being aired between 07:00 - 10:00, the Mid-Morning Show on at 10:00, the Afternoon Show at 13:00 and Drivetime between 16:00 and 19:00. The Language Show will air daily at 19:00 until 23:00. Finally, an automated service running back to back music will take to the air from 23:00.
