Colors consolidates number 3 position

India's latest entertainment channel is certainly making inroads by giving its closest rivals STAR Plus and ZEE TV sleepless nights!

According to the latest audience figures, Colors has consolidated the number three position and moreover only 15 points separates it from the current number two channel - ZEE TV!

TAM data (C&S, 4+, Hindi speaking markets) for week ending 20th September shows Colors at 217 points and ZEE TV standing at 232 points.

Further good news for Colors is that its show 'Balika Vadhu' is near to becoming India's most watched show (in the GEC category). It sits at number two with a rating of 6.22, just behind STAR Plus' 'Bidaai' (6.23 TRP). 'Jai Shri Krishna' is also faring well on Colors with a 4.42 TRP.

'Bigg Boss 2' also consistently is delivering for the channel. Its averaging at 2.72 TRP. New show 'Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena' is also set to cause further headache for its rivals, it launches this weekend and set to intensify the competition.

Sony Entertainment Television Asia has managed to jackpot once again with its latest series of 'Indian Idol', which started last weekend. It opened with 3.9 TRP on 19th September and reached 4.17 TRP the following day.

STAR Plus continues to rule the roster with 287 points.
