Channel Punjab will remain on air for a "few more days", according to our sources.

The niche channel was expected to go off-air today but a reliable source has confirmed it will stay on whilst the broadcaster talks to potential investors.

Channel Punjab had been running an on-screen scroll for the last few days informing viewers of its "temporary switch-off". BizAsia.co.uk was first to break the news last week. Read the story here.

It is not yet known which parties are talking to the channel and how soon after its rebrand Channel Punjab will return, if at all.
