ZEE Network to enter London Stock Exchange

ZEE Entertainment Studios, the movie division of Subhash Chandra’s TV-to-movies empire, is reportedly looking to list on the London Alternative Investment Market (AIM).

ZEE has two movie subsidiaries looking to raise $1.8bn over the next two years, partly from the London market, but also from its own E-City Ventures which looks after ZEE’s cinema, real estate and entertainment brands.

ZEE Entertainment Studios (ZES) has two movie brands, ZEE Motion Pictures for its more mainstream material, and ZEE Limelight for niche and low budget projects.

The appeal for potential investors is India’s booming entertainment market – at home and overseas – and projections of EBITDA growth of 30% pa.
