Rumour: Reena Combo to join Brit-Asian channel

Sources close to BizAsia.co.uk have hinted at the possibility of Reena Combo joining an up and coming new Brit Asian TV channel, set for launch next month. Combo who left the post as editor of entertainment magazine Ikonz last month is expected to be formally unveiled as the Programme Controller of a third channel run by the owners of Legal TV and Red TV. The latter currently is available on Sky Digital. Details of the new channel at this stage are sketchy; however where other Asian broadcasters are increasing the number of imported Bollywood related shows, this new offering is likely to focus primarily on locally recorded programming.
