Popular playback singer Sonu Nigam is returning to where he started in on TV - ZEE TV's 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'.

It has been confirmed by the channel that Sonu will be one of three judges forming the panel in the upcoming children's series 'Lil Champs'.

Sonu Nigam was the host of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' when the show first started in the mid-90s. He left the show to concentrate on his singing and acting career. A few years later, he joined rival show 'Indian Idol' as a mentor. However, he subsequently quit this because of reasons unknown.

Sonu will be joined by music director Pritam on the panel when the new series of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa - Lil Champs' kicks off this Saturday (20th October) on ZEE TV. Aditya Chopra will continue to front the show.

Earlier today, Aneek Dhar was crowned the winner of 'Challenge 2007' after five months on-air.
