STAR UK's Vice President Nick Thind leaves

Nick Thind, the Vice President of STAR Network UK is leaving the position he has hailed for the past seven years. His departure from the company was hinted at in our BizAsia.co.uk Whisper earlier this month. However, details remain sketchy to Nick’s sudden departure from the company. It is also unclear whether the STAR India management restructure earlier this year has resulted in changes at STAR internationally. Even though a source confirmed Nick's exit on Friday (28th September), it refused to comment further. Nick has been at the helm of STAR Network UK and the force behind the successful launches of four channels in Europe including STAR Plus, STAR News, STAR Gold and STAR One. During his tenure at STAR UK, he made the STAR channels to be the first Asian TV network to be available a part of the Sky monthly pack. Related links: | |
