Technical fault hits ZEE Network channels

The five ZEE Network UK channels have been hit by a technical fault, which has resulted in all services being taken off air. The fault occurred shortly after 08:45 this morning. Currently footage of a Bollywood concert is being shown on all ZEE channels including ZEE TV, ZEE Music, ZEE Cinema, Alpha ETC Punjabi and ZEE Gujarati. It is not yet known if the channels have been affected on cable service Virgin Media. BizAsia.co.uk is awaiting details on the problem from ZEE and will bring readers an update shortly. Update (12:00): The channels returned back on air around 10:00. A ZEE source said it was signaling problem, which resulted in the disruption. | |
