The wedding season is in full swing and two BBC Asian Network presenters have decided to tie the knot.

The first being Murtaza (better known as Murtz from ZEE Music) reportedly had a civil wedding with his non-media fiancée last month and the couple is expected to make it official at a formal nikah in June or July.

Another BBC presenter, Bobby Friction (host of Friction at 22:00 weeknights) tied the knot with his fiancée Bal (short for Baljit) in Birmingham on Sunday. Bal has worked as a producer for the Asian Network, including producing Friction's show in the past.
