Lara Dutta pulls out of Asian Lifestyle Show
In a last-minute change to the Asian Lifestyle Show event taking place this weekend at the NEC in Birmingham, headlining Bollywood star Lara Dutta has pulled out over reasons unknown. All radio and TV commercials were replaced with references of Lara Dutta removed. Fardeen Khan, Usha Uthap, Kailash Kher and a string of Brit-Asian singers will be present at the three-day event. The Asian Lifestyle Show is jointly organised by Sunrise Radio and Sony Entertainment Television Asia.

Mona Singh signed up for Indian 'Extreme Makeover'
Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi's lead actress Mona Singh has been signed up to host Sony Entertainment Television Asia's upcoming reality TV show 'Extreme Makeover India'. The English version of the programme is shown on ABC in the US. The show features participants in their "before" phase, then as they undergo their various procedures and, finally, the end results, which are revealed to their families and friends.
