Paul Shah quits Sunrise; joins Dubai station

Sunrise's Paul Shah quitsSunrise Radio's Drivetime show presenter Paul Shah is quitting to work at a Dubai radio station.

Paul, real name Ravi Rai, has been with Sunrise Radio for the past four years. It is not yet known when exactly Paul will present his last show but according to rumours doing the rounds this is his last month, he will be leaving October-end.

The radio station Paul will be moving to is based in Dubai and known by the name of Channel 4FM. It broadcasts in English.

Sunrise Radio has recently seen a lot of programme changes. Even though Paul Shah's replacement has not yet been confirmed, there is high chance of splitting the present Tony Patti and Kejal duo at breakfast time, with one of them moving to the vacant Drivetime slot.

There is also speculation suggesting the departure of many more presenters from the station over the next few weeks. How much of this is true remains to be seen. Could these sudden departures be down to personal change or a dispute with management? Keep it with BizAsia.co.uk for updates.

Paul Shah joins a string of other presenters who have quit the popular London based station in the past weeks including Sunny Kapoor, The Bossman and Vik Kumar. Sonia Dutta and Amar Gerewal have also not been on air for a while.
