Free entertainment channel Venus TV will be telecasting three big events later this month.

Venus TV cameramen will busy this weekend filming the 'Miss Commonwealth International Contest', which will take place at the Hammersmith Palais on the Sunday (16th July).

The forthcoming live Indian musical 'The Merchants Of Bollywood' is creating ripples in the industry already. With the recent UK launch in London, Venus TV will be giving viewers an insight into the live show. The launch was attended by key members of the team from Mumbai, including the inspiration for the show, Vaibhavi Merchant.

Venus TV will also be tying up with the 'Friendship Festival' which takes place at the Excel Docklands Arena on the 18th, 19th and 20th August 2006. The exhibition is organised to celebrate and build on the bonds that exist between India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

With so much marketing presence of Venus TV in the entertainment industry, the channel is holding no bars to get the channel noticed around the country.
