BBC Two to air Raj TV documentary

Digital TV channel Raj TV will be given mainstream exposure in a new BBC Two documentary to be aired on Tuesday (23rd May).

'No Time for Tea at Raj TV' will be a look back at the channel before it made its debut on satellite platform Sky Digital. It follows Managing Director Raja Khan on a mission to set up Raj TV, an English channel for British Asians.

The documentary also looks at the Raj TV programme focus in which Raja Khan has gathered young Asian graduates who are desperate to get in to TV to make shows for him.

The documentary starts from when Raj was facing a deadline and had only three months to get his channel on air. How did it happen? Did he face any obstacles? Clearly not, Raj TV is currently available on Sky Digital EPG 187.

'No Time for Tea at Raj TV' will be shown on BBC Two on Tuesday at 19:00.
