Nimbus signs Europe cricket telecaster - ARY

ARY Digital bags India cricket rightsARY Digital has been signed up by Nimbus to show upcoming India cricket in Europe (excluding UK).

The agreement today between Nimbus and ARY Digital will allow the broadcaster exclusive coverage in Europe. Furthermore, the channel has also been signed for the UK territory for cricket feeds with Urdu and Hindi commentary. BSkyB has exclusive arrangement for the two England series that come in the four year rights package, one of which is presently on.

It was only last week, Biz Asia revealed that ARY Digital UK had won rights for the forthcoming Pakistan and Sri Lanka series taking place later this month.

Also today, Pakistan broadcaster Geo TV has been signed up by Nimbus to show all India cricket played over the next four years. Geo will exclusively broadcast all matches in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
