With cricket stories dominating the Asian media news circuit, ARY Digital has confirmed to Biz Asia that it has clinched the forthcoming Pakistan, Sri Lanka series.

ARY has been riding high on the back of its succesful coverage of the India vs Pakistan series, which ended earlier this month. The upcoming Pakistan and Sri Lanka series consists of two tests and three one day plays.

A spokesman confirmed to us that it has indeed bagged the rights for the series for telecast in the UK and Europe, contrary to reports that another major Asian channel had won them.

Play kicks off on Friday 17th March with the first one day. The full schedule is below:

Friday 17th March -1st ODI, Colombo (Day/Night)
Sunday 19th March -2nd ODI, Colombo (Day/Night)
Tuesday 21st March -3rd ODI, Colombo (Day)

Saturday 25th March -1st Test, Kandy
Sunday 2nd April -2nd Test, Colombo
