Club Asia's no nonsense, straight to the point late night chat show 'No Holds Barred' has returned on air with a whole new sound.

The programme airs Monday through to Thursday between 22:00 and 01:00 will now be fronted by Bali, a new recruit of Club Asia. Bali takes over the show after former presenter K-jal defected to rival Sunrise Radio.

Club Asia recognised the need to provide a much needed talk show, which lead to the birth of 'No Holds Barred' back in April 2005. The show offers a frank and open forum where there's nothing that we won't talk about, making it appealing not only to the Asian community but also mainstream community and media as it allows them to gain an insight into the Asian mindset and issues this group want to discuss.

Bali studied Media at University in Scotland where she is from. The wee lassie from Scotland joined an Asian radio station in Glasgow where she presented her own Bhangra show and Drive Time at the tender age of 19. Having finished Uni and completed two and a half years at the station Bali was in search for her next step and that's when an opportunity to join the BBC on a diversity course came up. As part of the course Bali learnt to compile news packages and worked in groups to present and prepare a show as if it were for newsnight. This taught her not only the ability to debate in a professional environment but tested her knowledge on the research she presented. Having completed her course, Bali was ready to take her dream to a professional level bringing her to Club Asia.

Bali has really sunk her teeth into the show and her enthusiasm for it is evident, "the show is one that keeps you gripped throughout because you never know where it's going to go next".

Next month the show will cover Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender History month, the shift away from three generational households amongst Asians; over protective mums who refuse to let their sons grow up. So tune in for this and many other topical lively debates on Club Asia 963+972AM
