ZEE to hold own mela
ZEE Network has exclusively revealed to Biz Asia that it will be holding its own mela next year. The news follows after ZEE decided to opt out of the annual Media Moguls event, which will now see STAR sponsor the November event at the Birmingham NEC. Sony Entertainment Television Asia holds its annual Asian Lifestyle Exhibition with Sunrise Radio. ZEE Network will be releasing further information to Biz Asia about the new ZEE Mela. We can reveal that the event will be held at the Excel Docklands Arena, the same place, where this year's mamoth ZEE Cine Awards ceremony was held. Dates for the mela are yet to be confirmed but it looks likely to be the last weekend of March 2006 (once again, the same period the ZEE Cine Awards were held this year).

A decision is expected on this in the next few days, so keep it here for the latest.
