Mainstream media is turning once again to Club Asia 963+972AM to find out the current atmosphere within the younger Asian community. The station is the only platform for contemporary Asian Londoners to talk and has become the focal point for debate among Asians in the city.

Sumerah Ahmad, Club Asia's Co-founder and Director, appeared on BBC Breakfast this morning and was asked how Asians have changed their behaviour after the attacks. She commented, "there is a real sense of the need to reassure non Asians that we're on the same side - that we're not carrying explosives".

The station has proven not only to be a vital source to London's Asians in terms of information source but also as a platform which is their own to voice their feelings and concerns. "Our listeners view this station as their own, lending them to speak more freely than if it were a non Asian medium", John Ogden, Club Asia Director.
